What is the poncho made of?
60% acrylic, 15% alpaca, 15% wool, and 10% viscose. There is no cashmere in this one: the alpaca and the wool are what make it warm.
Does it come in different sizes?
It comes in one size. Wear it over a shirt, or over a sweater when it gets colder.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold, or use the wool or delicate cycle. Don't wring it: press the water out with a towel and dry it flat, away from direct heat and sun.
Will it pill?
Any knit with wool and alpaca in it can pill where it rubs — under a shoulder bag, for instance. A cashmere brush takes the pills off in a few passes.
Is there anything to pay when it arrives?
No. The price includes duties, taxes, and shipping, and we ship as the importer of record, so there is nothing to pay the carrier on delivery. It ships from Italy by UPS Express, 3–5 business days.
What if I need to send it back?
Free returns within 30 days, with a prepaid UPS label. One free return per order; any further return shipping is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned through January 31.
