Does the recycled cashmere itch?
No. The fibers are sorted and spun in Prato like any others, and the knit comes out soft enough to wear against the skin.
Does it last as long as virgin cashmere?
It lasts, but it pills a little sooner. Reclaimed fiber has already been spun once, so it is shorter than new fiber, and short fibers work their way to the surface faster. A cashmere comb lifts the pills off, and with the right care the sweater stays good for years.
How do I choose my size?
The fit is slim and close to the body, and the sizes are Italian, running S through XXL. Go by the measurements on the size page rather than the letter: this one is cut about ¾ in (2 cm) narrower through the chest and the shoulder, and about ¾ in (2 cm) longer in the body, than our other women's knitwear, so if you're between two sizes, take the larger.
Is there anything to pay when it arrives?
No. The price includes duties, taxes, and shipping, and we ship as the importer of record, so there is nothing to pay the carrier on delivery. It ships from Italy by UPS Express, 3–5 business days.
What if it doesn't fit?
Free returns within 30 days, with a prepaid UPS label. One free return per order; any further return shipping is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned through January 31.
