The Responsible Wool Standard is an international standard for sheep welfare and grazing land management: it prohibits mulesing and follows the wool through the whole chain, from the farm to the spinning mill. It covers the wool, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our own factory in Prato.
Viscose LENZING™ ECOVERO™ – what this means
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a viscose made by Lenzing from wood grown in responsibly managed forests, in a process that uses less water and emits about half the CO₂ of conventional viscose; every fiber is traceable back to its origin. It covers the fiber, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our own factory in Prato.
How do I wash the cable-knit poncho?
By hand in cold or barely warm water with a mild detergent, or in the machine on the wool cycle, never above 86 °F (30 °C). Don't twist it: press the water out with a towel and dry it flat, without pulling the fabric.
Will the cables keep their relief over time?
Yes. The pattern is crossed in the knitting itself, not printed on, so it survives washing if you follow the instructions. Lay it out flat to dry and don't stretch it.
Does the yarn feel scratchy?
It is a blend with 40% wool and 10% cashmere, so it doesn't feel as soft as pure cashmere. If your skin is sensitive, wear it over a light top.
Is there anything to pay when it arrives?
No. The price includes duties, taxes, and shipping, and we ship as the importer of record, so there is nothing to pay the carrier on delivery. It ships from Italy by UPS Express, 3–5 business days.
What if I need to send it back?
Free returns within 30 days, with a prepaid UPS label. One free return per order; any further return shipping is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned through January 31.

A poncho with cables running down it, raised and twisted across the whole piece. The cables are crossed stitch over stitch as the piece is knitted, not printed and not sewn on afterward, so the relief is part of the fabric. In cream, over a chambray shirt and brown boots.
The yarn is a blend: 40% extrafine merino wool, 25% viscose, 25% nylon, and 10% cashmere. Knitted in our own factory in Prato, in the Tuscan textile district. Origin traceability certified Tfashion 100% Made in Italy, which certifies the making and not just the label. The wool is certified RWS – Responsible Wool Standard and the viscose is LENZING™ ECOVERO™.
One size, regular fit: 29.5" long × 23.5" wide (75 × 60 cm). Several colors, from neutrals to darks.
