Yarn certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 – what this means
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a laboratory test for harmful substances: the yarn is tested and has to come back free of chemical residues that are hazardous to skin, against limits stricter than the law requires. The certification covers the yarn, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our own factory in Prato.
Cashmere certified The Good Cashmere Standard® – what this means
The Good Cashmere Standard® is an independent program run by the Aid by Trade Foundation and dedicated to the welfare of cashmere goats: the farms that join are audited on how the animals are treated, on working conditions and on how the grazing land is used. It covers the fiber upstream, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our own factory in Prato.
How do I wash the cropped cardigan?
Hand wash it cold, or use the wool or delicate cycle on your machine. Don’t spin it: press the water out with a towel and dry it flat.
Is it normal for small pills to appear?
Yes, it can happen in the first few wearings, where the shorter fibers rub. Take them off with a cashmere comb or a gentle fabric shaver; the effect fades with later washes.
Can I wear it over a dress, around the shoulders?
Yes. The short length, 17.75" (45 cm), and the single button make it easy to wear over the shoulders on top of a dress, without putting your arms through the sleeves.
Is there anything to pay when it arrives?
No. The price includes duties, taxes, and shipping, and we ship as the importer of record, so there is nothing to pay the carrier on delivery. It ships from Italy by UPS Express, 3–5 business days.
What if I need to send it back?
Free returns within 30 days, with a prepaid UPS label. One free return per order; any further return shipping is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned through January 31.

A cropped cardigan closed by a single mother-of-pearl button: no row of buttonholes, just one fastening, so it goes on open or shut in one gesture. It stops at the waist and leaves the line of a dress or a skirt showing: in cream, over a high-waisted midi dress; in red, over a black one.
The yarn is two-ply — two strands twisted around each other before knitting — so the knit holds its shape through washing and pills less than a single-ply would. 100% cashmere, knitted in our own factory in Prato, in the Tuscan textile district. Origin traceability certified Tfashion 100% Made in Italy, which certifies the making and not just the label.
