The Responsible Wool Standard is an international standard for sheep welfare and grazing land management: it prohibits mulesing and follows the wool through the whole chain, from the farm to the spinning mill. It covers the wool, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our own factory in Prato.
Viscose LENZING™ ECOVERO™ – what this means
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ is a viscose made by Lenzing from wood grown in responsibly managed forests, in a process that uses less water and emits about half the CO₂ of conventional viscose; every fiber is traceable back to its origin. It covers the fiber, not the finished garment: we buy certified yarns and knit them in our own factory in Prato.
Is this throw pure cashmere?
No. The yarn is a blend: 40% extra-fine merino wool, 25% viscose, 25% nylon, and 10% cashmere.
How do I wash it?
By hand, or on the wool or delicate cycle, then dry flat. Don't wring it: press the water out with a towel.
Will it pill with everyday use?
It can, the way any knit does where it rubs. A wool comb or a gentle fabric shaver lifts the pills off without damaging the cable.
Is there anything to pay when it arrives?
No. The price includes duties, taxes, and shipping, and we ship as the importer of record, so there is nothing to pay the carrier on delivery. It ships from Italy by UPS Express, 3–5 business days.
What if I need to send it back?
Free returns within 30 days, with a prepaid UPS label. One free return per order; any further return shipping is deducted from the refund. Orders placed in November and December can be returned through January 31.

A cable runs across this throw, raised enough to catch the light and give the piece some structure of its own. Put it over the arm of a sofa, fold it at the foot of the bed, or pull it across your lap on a cold evening. It is made to be used every day, not put away.

The wool is certified RWS – Responsible Wool Standard and the viscose is LENZING™ ECOVERO™, two certifications covering where the fibers come from. Origin traceability certified Tfashion 100% Made in Italy, which certifies the making and not just the label.
